Yes, they undergo a very comprehensive screening process which includes interviews with a registered psychologist, Genetic Carrier testing (performed in the USA) and testing for infectious diseases.
Do you allow egg donors to have cosmetic surgery?
No, with exception of dental work. Our Senior Nurse examines all donor applicants personally.
How old are your egg donors?
The age range is 21 to 27 and the average age is 23.
Can I meet your donors?
No, the donors are anonymous. However, Australian Intended Parents can gain access to the government donor register in NSW once their child reaches the age of 18.
Can you send your eggs to another country? I would like to use my own doctor.
Yes, we can ship to anywhere egg donation is legal. You will need to check the situation in your country, with your doctor, as some countries have restrictions on imported eggs.
Can I use donor eggs with a surrogate?
Yes, if the male partner’s sperm is used. There needs to be a genetic link to your child.
How quickly can you organise a surrogate?
This depends on your availability to travel. In some cases we have been able to have an embryo transfer to the birth mother within 6-weeks. But it can take up to 3-months, especially if you are using your own eggs.
